1. Prohibited Actions

• Profanity and Abusive Language: The use of profanities, vulgarity, or inappropriate language anywhere on the platform (public comments, profile fields, or private messages) is strictly prohibited.
• Direct Message (DM) Harassment: Sending unwanted spam, aggressive messages, threats, or abusive language to other users or administrators via direct messages is strictly forbidden.
• Irresponsible Booking & Cancellation: Repeatedly booking equipment or services and canceling without a valid reason, causing disruption to inventory availability and platform operations, is prohibited.
• Invalid or Playful Signatures: Drawing doodles, scribbling, or placing fake/invalid signatures during Step 2 of the Booking Process is prohibited. All signatures must be clear and legitimate rental agreements.
• Fake Proof of Payment: Uploading fake receipts, edited screenshots, or engaging in any form of payment-related misrepresentation or fraud is strictly prohibited.

2. Violation Severities and Suspension Durations

FunForRent categorizes penalties into four distinct levels depending on the gravity and frequency of the infraction:

3. Suspension Criteria & Escalation Policy

Escalation Protocol:

• 1st Offense (Minor): Results in a 3-day suspension.
• 2nd Offense (Repeated Minor): Escalates directly to a Moderate Violation (7-day suspension).
• 3rd Offense: Escalates to a Severe Violation (30-day suspension).
• Immediate Escalation: Financial fraud (such as uploading fake payment proofs) bypasses minor and moderate warnings and results in immediate Severe or Permanent Suspension upon investigation.

4. Account Appeals & Misreport Defense

If you believe your account was suspended due to a false report, error, or malicious report by another user, you have the right to file an appeal for account reinstatement.

• Filing an Appeal: Users can submit an appeal request by contacting the FunForRent Support Team with the email subject line: “Account Suspension Appeal - [Your Username]”.
• Required Documentation:
  • Registered Full Name, Username, and Email Address.
  • Date of suspension and the stated reason given by the system.
  • Clear explanation and verifiable evidence (e.g., screenshots of chat logs, original payment receipts, or transaction history) proving that the report against you was false or inaccurate.
• Review Process:
  • The FunForRent Moderation Team will review your appeal and evidence within 3 to 5 business days.
  • If the investigation confirms a false report or system error, your account will be fully reactivated immediately, and appropriate penalty actions will be enforced against the party who filed the false report.
  • If the suspension is upheld after review, the decision remains final for the rest of the suspension duration.
